We throughly enjoyed our trip to Llandudno. We had amazing views and lovely weather. The VW Van was lovely to drive, very modern, easy to use, warm, clean and had every amenity needed. We were very cozy and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly when making the booking, answering questions throughout our break, and when returning the vehicle. We would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be returning to use their services again

I hired a van for a weekend to go to a festival and the van was perfect. I knew up front what was and wasn’t included in the hire cost which was a very reasonably priced. Van was in excellent condition and staff were very helpful and informative. I would definitely hire again and highly recommend.

We’ve just got back from hiring a campervan for the August long bank holiday weekend. Wow! How good was the van!! 73 plate that had been converted to the highest standards. It was immaculate when we picked it up and we had a fantastic service from Lukasz when we had to message him 2 hours into the hire with some questions as newbies to the camper scene (the 3 pin plugs only work if you’re hooked up to the mains, there is a switch for the fridge behind the drivers seat and make sure the switch is down on the fuse box for the USB ports to work). We went all across the north of England – Kielder, Bambrugh, Bishop Auckland, Barnard Castle, Hawes, Malham and Harrogate, the van being a pleasure to drive on A roads and country roads alike. The ACC is a fantastic feature!! There is hook up facilities if you want to use them, however we chose a few wild stops and used the leisure battery to charge our phones. You’ll need to bring your own small 5kg patio gas bottle that’ll cost you about £30 from a supermarket garage if you want to use the gas. You’ll need your own pots/pans/cutlery – which we didn’t mind. I’m 6’3 and slept a perfectly comfortably on the very nice rock and roll bed, and moved about with ease inside once the pop top roof was up. Van is a real head turner and the customer service has been excellent. We would highly recommend.

We hired a camper to visit the Cotswolds for a long weekend (Monday to Friday) and opted for the late return on Monday to extend our trip, the price of which was very fair. From first enquiry and booking to picking the camper up and whilst away, communication was very easy with Lukasz on hand to answer any questions we had. The camper itself was immaculate inside and out. It was less than a year old, finished to an amazing standard and only had 800 miles on the clock when we picked it up. The adaptive cruise control is a god send for longer drives, a very easy van to drive. The living space is comfortable and surprisingly spacious with the roof box extended. It’s important to note that the hire only includes the camper itself and doesn’t include gas/cookware etc which I think is fairly reflected in the cheaper price and worked for us as we had plastic camping plates/cutlery etc to bring with us. (I think reviews marking them down for this are unfair as this is clearly stated in the T&Cs and we were told before booking.) Don’t have a bad word to say about our whole experience. We already can’t wait to book our next trip with Yorkshire Campervan Hire!
VW Campervan – The Evolution. 1947 marked the beginning of campervans. Dutch importer Ben Pon had the idea from observing motorised trolleys which were being used to transport parts around a VW factory in Wolfsburg.
